The Legend of the Dark Fiends is a story set in the present time, except it's very anachronistic. It has elements of both medieval magic and futuristic technology in it. This makes this action-adventure also a fantasy and a sci-fi at the same time, with elements of Romance and Emotional Chaos. Duty
This was originally a story I wrote for Miss Koyanagi's English AP class (senior year, 6th period). The story is about a human knight named Leo and an elven sorceress named Sylvia and their forbidden love. At the brink of war, the King of Phryge wants Leo to marry his daughter, Princess Sara, to boost the morale of his soldiers and to provide some stability for his daughter. This dilemma haunts Leo throughout the story until the climax. Unlike Dark Fiends, this story is rather symbolic and thematic. Or you could simply enjoy reading this medieval love story.
Incidentally, this is my fourth and final draft of Duty. That's twice as many drafts as I do for a Dark Fiends chapter.
